WYSO Connects is a program of Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras, Inc. ("WYSO"), a nonprofit organization at 1118 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53703. This page explains what information we collect on wysoconnects.org, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
When you register for a session, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), your school or organization, your instrument, and your answers to a few short questions about what you hope to get from the session. We use this to run the session: to send you your part or materials, to plan seating and meals, and to contact you about the event you registered for.
When you pay, your payment is processed by Square. We never see or store your full card number. Square's handling of your payment information is covered by Square's privacy policy.
When you join our email list, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your name, so we can tell you about future WYSO Connects sessions. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
When you visit the site, we collect usage information through Google Analytics, such as the pages you view, how you got here, your general location, and the device and browser you use. We also use the Meta pixel to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site and to show our ads to people who have visited. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Webflow hosts this website. Jotform collects registration forms. Square processes payments. MailerLite sends our emails and stores our email list. Google Analytics measures how the site is used. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures our advertising.
Each of these companies handles your information under its own privacy policy. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else except as needed to run these services or as required by law.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of each one. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing andrew@wysomusic.org.
WYSO Connects programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 on this site. WYSO's youth programs have their own policies at wysomusic.org.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
